The end of the year is also the time when we pay our dues $20 single , $30 family and see if anyone would like to take on a position of responsibility.

Start : 6:30pm
Address : 39 Hagerman Cr in St. Thomas

Hope to see all of our members there !!

Christmas Float

Hey Pholks

We had a Phantastik turnout for the Foodbank Christmas Float November 12th . The group did a great job and the Food bank collected over 11 thousand pounds of food during the London Christmas Parade .
Our meeting after was very productive we decided on 3 major ideas : 1) a christmas party at Gregg and Doreen's on December 17th , more to come on that , 2 ) create an event, publicize it , gather new members, I think it will be a smaller event but it's going to happen, 3) other creative ways to give back to the community ie) volunteer to prepare meals for McDonald House in their kitchen .
All the LPH's are awesome people deserving of recognition you may not get it from anywhere else but I'll tell you here in public you are a benefit to the communities you live in.

Cheers,

Elmhurst Event - Buffett Style

Okay everyone ........ this is a phantastic event.
Brian Neale has a great voice and is sure to do many Jimmy songs and a few of his own. Gary and I have seen him perform many times and lately Brian, Trish and Gregg also joined us seeing him at Ingersol Ribfest and a few weeks ago at the Elmhurst.
I see they have a menu that is more casual in the room we will be in and also on the patio weather permitting.
I am requesting a few numbers in advance so they can arrange seating for us.
The times may be difficult for some, 5-8pm , but I had no say in that. Last time he was to play 7-10 and we finally left at 11:30 and he was still going.
Please let me know if you are able to join us.

Thursday September 15th will also be our club meeting. What a great place to have a meeting , good food , great music and good times . We will be picking the last highway cleanups for this year as well as confirming the date and time of our Santa Clause parade float team.

Cheers

Our Next Event

Hello Everyone,

It's Relay For Life time and, once again, and Joan and I have decided to forgo the all night, freeze your ass off scenario by hosting a proxy event on the afternoon of Saturday June 11th at our home, located at 399 Elderberry Avenue in North London. Those wishing to participate can use the attached file to encourage their unsuspecting friends and relatives to donate to a most worthy cause. Similar to last year, in order to be able to collect pledges online, and avoid the $10 registration fee (per head), ALL pledges for Team Margaritaville will have to be made under my name. We are listed under the NON-ATTENDING team banner.

First, let me know if you are interested in participating agin this year, and then take a quick peek at the attached document to make sure that you are clear on the pledge instructions. The attachent can be sent to all those on your list of supporters to assist in their donations. Last year we raised over $1500 for Team Margaritaville, which was donated to the Canadian Cancer Society by the London Parrothead Club. There will be a BBQ, rain or shine, and a good party. Unlike the actual Relay For Life, this will NOT be an alcohol free event. Hope to see some of you there on June 11th. An RSVP would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

P.S: Gord, please pass the word to any others in the Club who would like to participate . I have a link and instructions. If people are interested in getting that info please e-mail me at geeman8@sympatico.ca
